Being accused or the victim of an offence is a difficult ordeal. At every stage, the assistance of a lawyer is an essential safeguard of the rights of the defence. As a lawyer admitted to the Mulhouse Bar, I act in criminal matters with responsiveness and in strict confidence.
Assistance during police custody
From the very start of police custody (garde à vue), you have the right to be assisted by a lawyer. I can speak with you confidentially and assist you during questioning and confrontations, so that your rights are respected.
Defence before the court
I provide your defence at every stage:
- court appearances and presentation before the prosecutor;
- investigation and proceedings before the judge;
- hearings before the correctional court (audience correctionnelle);
- alternative procedures (the French guilty-plea procedure, comparution sur reconnaissance préalable de culpabilité, etc.);
- enforcement and adjustment of sentences.
Serious crimes: cour criminelle and cour d’assises (French criminal courts)
For the most serious offences, I provide the defence before the cour criminelle départementale and the cour d’assises (French criminal court). These proceedings, lengthy and demanding, require meticulous preparation and a constant presence: I assist you from the investigation through to the trial, with the commitment that such matters require.
Support for victims
If you are a victim, I assist you in filing a complaint, applying to join the proceedings as a civil party (partie civile) and claiming compensation for the harm you have suffered, before the competent courts.
How I work with you
I take the time to understand your situation, to explain the proceedings and to define an appropriate defence strategy with you. You are kept informed and supported at every stage.
